Terms of Service
Last updated: June 29, 2026
These terms apply when you order a cinematic pet tribute film from StoryHouse (“StoryHouse,” “we,” “us”). By placing an order or sending us your photos and details, you agree to them.
1. Our service
We create custom, hand-edited tribute films from the photos, video clips, and details you provide. Each package describes what’s included. Film length, the number of photos, and the number of revisions depend on the package you choose.
2. Orders, payment, and marketplaces
You can begin by submitting our intake form. We’ll confirm the details, scope, and price before we start. If you found us or placed your order through a third-party marketplace (such as Fiverr), that platform’s terms also apply, and your communication and payment are handled through that platform in accordance with its rules. We honor each marketplace’s policies for orders placed there.
3. The content you provide
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, the photos, videos, music requests, and other materials you send us, and that sharing them with us doesn’t break anyone else’s rights.
4. Rights and ownership
Your original media stays yours. When your film is complete and paid for, the finished tribute is yours to keep, download, and share for personal use. We retain ownership of our editing techniques, templates, and process. We will only show your film or photos as a public sample or for promotion with your explicit permission.
5. Music licensing
We use properly licensed music or music you have the right to use. Personal tribute films are intended for private, personal sharing; large-scale public broadcast or commercial use may require additional licensing, which is your responsibility.
6. Revisions, timing, and delivery
We’ll revise the first cut within the number of revisions included in your package until it’s right. Turnaround times are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and may vary with workload and how quickly we receive your materials. If you need a film by a specific date (for a service or memorial), tell us up front and we’ll do our best.
7. Cancellations and refunds
If you placed your order through a marketplace, that platform’s cancellation and refund policy applies. For direct orders, contact us as early as possible — we handle cancellations fairly, but work already completed may not be refundable. We want you to be happy with your tribute.
8. Limitation of liability
We pour care into every film, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryHouse is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for the loss of original media you have not kept your own copy of — please keep your originals.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place your order applies to that order.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your state/country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
