StoryHouse (“StoryHouse,” “we,” “us”) creates cinematic pet tribute films. This policy explains what information we collect when you reach out or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple, because trust matters — especially at a tender time.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to create your tribute and stay in touch:
- Contact details you provide — your name, email address, and phone number (if you share it).
- About your companion — their name, your memories, dates, music preferences, and any notes you add to our intake form.
- Your photos, videos, and clips — the media you upload or link to so we can make your film.
- Order details — the package you choose and messages we exchange.
How we use your information
- To create, revise, and deliver your tribute film.
- To communicate with you about your order and answer your questions.
- To process your order and keep records of our work together.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your photos, videos, or your companion’s story for marketing or public samples without your explicit permission.
How we store and share it
We use trusted third-party services to help run our business — for example, our intake form provider (Tally), file-transfer services (such as WeTransfer, Google Drive, or iCloud) for larger videos, email, and a payment processor or marketplace. These providers process your information only to help us deliver our service, under their own privacy terms.
If you found us or ordered through a third-party marketplace (such as Fiverr), that platform also handles your information under its own privacy policy.
Keeping your media
Your original photos and videos remain yours. We use them solely to produce your film and keep them only as long as needed to complete and support your order. You can ask us to delete your media and personal information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of any non-essential messages. Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights. To make any request, just email us.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat your memories with care.
Children
Our services and this site are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13.
